Led Zeppelin are an English rock band formed in London in 1968. The group consists of guitarist Jimmy Page, singer Robert Plant, bassist and keyboardist John Paul Jones, and drummer John Bonham.

History[]

Richie Finestra's driver, Leo, picks him up at the airport with news that there's an emergency with Led Zeppelin that Richie needs to attend to. Backstage at Madison Square Garden, Richie sees the band's manager, Peter Grant, arguing with the concert promoter for allowing the sale of unlicensed Zeppelin merchandise, so he instead approaches Robert Plant and attempts to smooth things over. Apparently the band agreed to a 20 percent royalty rate but discovered that Richie's associates over at American Century Records attempted to it cut in half without their knowledge. Richie claims to have no awareness of this and informs them that other bands in the label (Jethro Tull, Edgar Winter Group, Black Oak Arkansas) all have 20 percent and reminds them that they're "Michelangelo". Richie promises to make things right, but Robert dismisses him and leaves to perform. Still backstage, Richie witnesses the band perform "Somethin' Else" and "You Shook Me" while let's out a single tear.

Back in the car, Richie calls Scott Leavitt, the label's lawyer, and berates him for messing up the deal. He orders Scott to fix the situation with Grant.
